The Gateway PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year Award is the highest achievement the Association can bestow on a working assistant professional whose total contributions to the game best exemplify the complete PGA Assistant Professional. This award embraces a wide range of services executed by the Assistant professional.

Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership
Demonstration of strong moral character
Maintain a substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf.
Well-regarded as a model PGA Assistant Golf Professional.

Overall performance as an Assistant Golf Professional.
Service to the Section and the Association.
Leadership ability.
Image and ability to inspire fellow Golf Professionals.
Promotion and growth of the game of golf.

⇔ Award will be presented at the Gateway PGA Awards Ceremony, held in October
⇔ Taylor Made Adidas Golf will contribute $1,500 cash as well as a full line staff agreement for the winner of this award
