Summary of background and credentials.
I have played golf ever since I was 12 years old. After playing high school golf I decided I wanted to enroll in the PGM program at Arizona State, where I earned my Class A Professional status. While playing in Pepsi Tour and section events I also worked at some of the most well known golf clubs in the nation such as Desert Mountain golf club. I moved from Scottsdale, AZ to work at Old Hawthorne Golf Club because it was a great opportunity for my career and it gave my wife and I an opportunity to live in the town we grew up in and love.

What was your motivation to become a Golf Professional?
I have enjoyed playing golf ever since I was in middle school and decided I wanted to be around the sport my whole life. Bill Eschenbrenner, PGA Master professional and 2005 professional of the year spoke with me about the PGM program and how he thought that I would be a great fit for it. I took his advice and have enjoyed being a PGA Professional.

What is your specialty in the golf business?
I specialize in customer service, instruction and tournament management.

Please list any accomplishments.
I am a Class A PGA Professional.

What was your greatest moment in golf?
My first tournament win at the age of 15 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. I was hooked after that.

What or who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My father has had the greatest impact on my career. He has always taught me that a positive attitude is the most important factor in helping yourself succeed.

Besides golf, what else do you enjoy?
I love spending time with my family. I have a beautiful wife and wonderful 2 year old son.

If you could play any golf course in the world, which one would it be and who would complete your foursome?
I would love to play Augusta National. My other three players would consist of Jack Nicklaus, Vince Vaughn, and Adam Sandler

If you could give lessons to anyone in the world who would it be and what advice would you give?
It would be with Charles Barkley and I would give him a basketball and tell him to use it.

What is your favorite golf instruction tip?
Don't spend hours on the range and waste your time by overanalyzing your swing. Stick to one or two key points to work on and practice with quality, not quantity.
